The most important part of the first Unsubscribe page, is the actual unsubscribe link - this will be automatically populated when you send your survey invitation. When your customer clicks on the link, they are immediately registered in our database as having unsubscribed, after which no further survey invitations will be sent to them. You need to ensure that this unsubscribe link is in place, in all active languages:
The second Unsubscribe page includes the confirmation message towards the customer. Again, make sure you include this for all active languages:
Unsubscribe Link
It’s mandated by CAN-SPAM and EU law that customers must be able to opt-out of email campaigns. This includes survey invitation emails. Therefore we insist on the use of an unsubscribe link in all emails sent through our system. We supply a standard link for this purpose in our default templates; it’s a quick solution for end customers. The CustomerGauge system adds their email address to a “Stop List” table in our database, and any subsequent emails to this email address will be blocked.
