CustomerGauge v6.01 Release Notes - Released 24 September 2025

Hi there! Some of you may have noticed a small change in our Release Notes format. Namely, that we have moved onto v6, really entering the AI age, with this release being v6.01. As we released our groundbreaking new Gaige AI suite with Gaige Chat in our previous release (more on that here, if you haven’t seen it!), we felt that with this momentous release, it was no longer appropriate to consider ourselves within “v5” of CustomerGauge – er, sorry, CustomerGaige – any longer. Therefore, in tandem with Gaige Chat and CustomerGaige, we are pleased to announce the arrival of v6!

P.S. Don’t worry, all that is changing here is the number we’re publishing with – there are no changes or movements required on our customers’ end related to this. We hope you have been enjoying the benefits of Gaige!

5 New Features

  • Gaige Chat

    • Reply Feedback
Rate any Gaige reply with a quick thumbs up/down and optionally add a short comment. Your feedback feeds directly into our tuning pipeline, helping prioritize fixes and accuracy improvements where they matter most.

    • Copy Insight
Need to reuse an insight that Gaige had provided? Use the new copy button beneath each Gaige response to grab the full text instantly — perfect for sharing insights internally, adding to your analysis decks, emails, or docs without formatting hassles.

  • Exports

    • (Beta) New: Export Responses
A new capability has been introduced to let users directly export survey responses from CustomerGauge. With this feature, you can quickly extract raw response data, including open-text comments, scores, respondent details, and Drivers in their own columns, into structured CSV files. This makes it easier to share feedback data with external teams, run deeper offline analysis, or load CustomerGauge data into other BI or data warehouse tools.

    • (Beta) New: Export Mappings
To complement the Export Responses functionality, users can now create and manage reusable export mappings. Export mappings define which fields and formats are included in the export, so teams can set up standardized templates for recurring needs — such as weekly management reports, monthly AX reviews, or manual uploads to other platforms.

  • Workflow Rules

    • Workflow Rules for External Responses
‘New Response’ Workflow Rules now support the ‘External Responses’ delivery vector. Automatically open or assign cases and trigger alerts for the right teams based on external responses uploaded, ensuring off-platform survey data can drive timely follow-up and KPI reporting in CustomerGauge.

3 Feature Improvements

  • Gaige Chat

    • Gaige now relies less on default date ranges and filters, choosing smarter, context-aware parameters from your question. That means fewer re-asks, faster answers, and results that better reflect your intended scope and timeframe.

  • Survey Record Page: Close the Loop

    • When attempting to re-open a case, users will now see a confirmation dialog explaining KPI impact. This guards against accidental changes and helps keep Close the Loop metrics consistent and auditable across teams.

  • Reporting

    • Line charts in Reporting now use smooth curves for improved readability and trend perception, aligning with Gaige’s visual style for those types of charts. The update preserves exact values and tooltips, while delivering a cleaner, more modern look.

5 Feature Fixes

  • Gaige Chat

    • Solved a rendering issue where textual or numeric labels on Gaige-generated charts could display a faint “shadow”. Text and number labels now render crisply at all sizes.

    • Solved an issue that could send messages prematurely while composing in multi-script languages (for example, Japanese). Input handling now respects composition events, preventing unintended sends until the typing of the message is complete.

  • Search

    • Addressed a styling regression that caused certain text to appear in red unexpectedly. The correct theme colors are now applied consistently across components.

  • Campaign Suite

    • Solved an issue where saving filter-only changes in Campaign Suite would not update the Modified Date. The timestamp now reflects all meaningful edits, improving auditability.

  • REST APIs

    • Solved a rare issue where the PUT Single Record API (External Responses) could fail with a 422 HTTP Error, improving reliability for automated imports and integrations.
