For increased security, it is possible to restrict access to your CustomerGauge system to certain IP addresses using the IP White List.
Before using this feature please beware of the following points:
1) If you turn on the IP lock, you will immediately prevent all other IP addresses from accessing the system. You will block all other users' access unless they use the same IP address or you also add their IP address.
2) Ensure you add your own IP address before turning the IP White List ON so you don't lock yourself out.
3) If you are working from home or on a mobile device your IP address may change periodically - ensure you manage the IP White List from a fixed IP address.
In order to turn on the IP White List and add new IP addresses, you should navigate to Security under Admin. This menu item may also simply be called IP White List (it must not be confused with the API IP White List).
