1 New Security and Compliance Update
Email Sending and Open Tracking
In order to comply with legislation in certain countries such as France and Italy, Custom Sending Domains can now be configured to disable Email Open tracking. This feature can be enabled upon request. Please see the linked article for more information and reach out to your Account Manager or Support if you’d like to enable this for one of your sending domains.
1 New Feature
Repeat Respondents Analytics
See how often contacts return to share feedback. The new Repeat Respondents analytics in Gaige Chat displays how engaged your contacts have been for a set period, helping teams distinguish one-time respondents from ongoing engagement.
View contact and response counts and percentages for single-shots (1 response) and repeat respondent groups.
Open a drill-down from each contact count to see the contacts behind the result.
Review totals for all respondents alongside focused repeat-respondent metrics, making recurring engagement easier to understand.
Try asking Gaige "What's the response frequency across all contacts from 2025 to 2026 based on survey completed date?"
9 Feature Improvements
Gaige Chat
Expanded chat retention: Gaige Chat conversations can remain available beyond the previous 60-minute expiry and three-month automatic-deletion limits, making it easier to return to earlier context.
Longer messages: Users can now enter messages up to 16,000 characters, giving teams more room to provide detailed context and questions.
Clearer response presentation: Tables, blockquotes, and chart backgrounds are presented more consistently, making responses easier to scan and interpret.
Model Upgrade: We’ve upgraded the model that powers Gaige Chat, which will allow us to continue to add newer functionality and apply the latest technology to any interactions with the chat.
Signal Intelligence
Clearer Output Structure guidance: For the “New Signal” flow under the Gaige menu, the Step 2 header now makes the Output structure clearer, with aligned labels and supporting text for a clearer wizard experience.
Campaigns
Campaign activation controls: Users can now activate or deactivate campaigns directly from the Actions menu instead of having to navigate through the entire Campaign set-up solely for the purpose of activating or deactivating a Campaign.
Expanded recipient eligibility: Valid outreach to shared role-based and numeric inboxes, such as info or support addresses, is no longer blocked, helping teams maintain delivery to legitimate recipients. Other records may still be blocked due to valid failure reasons, such as the email missing MX records, indicating that the address would be unable to receive emails.
More accurate email-open status: Survey timelines on the Survey Record Page now show Email Opened as unknown when no reliable open date is available, keeping the activity history clearer and more accurate. This will also always apply to records that come from Direct Link, Pop-up, or Personal Link campaigns, as those will never have an “email” from CustomerGauge that was opened.
System Admin
Clearer Account Reference setup: The Update Account References feature now explains when the required Display Name field is missing and disables the action until setup is complete, reducing configuration confusion.
6 Feature Fixes
Gaige Chat
Solved an issue where the colors of the “Delete” and “Cancel” buttons when deleting a chat were inverted.
Reporting
Solved an issue where the Drivers Contribution selection did not appear after re-editing a widget.
Solved an issue where non-response exports started from the Search feature would fail.
Solved an issue where switches in Field Settings > Add Field did not work as expected.
User Management
Solved an issue where an SSO user created with uppercase letters could encounter a server error when later updated.
Solved an issue where validation errors for first and last names were not displayed, leaving users without clear correction guidance.
